A year later

I took photos for this beautiful family a year ago. It's amazing to see how the little ones have changed. Here's a sneak peek...hoping to contine taking pictures of them for many years to come!

My photography style is completely laid back and relaxed. "Uptight" and "posed" are not in my vocabulary (unless I'm talking about what I don't like) Photo sessions should be fun and spontaneous in order to truly capture subjects...and this style is reflected in my portraits. I'm not into generic photos...I want to capture real life as it happens. Be prepared to kick off your shoes, skip down the street and let your hair down. Don't worry about the run in her hose or the dirt on his cheek. Babies cry, kids have tantrums...zits happen. Count to ten, take a deep breath and go with it. Leave the details up to me...that's what I'm here for.

I shoot entirely on-location to offer incredible flexibility in the style and feel of your portraits. You choose the place or I can suggest locations for you. Stick with an open field or old barn with tons of natural light and we'll create that modern-vintage look I so much love. Let's head downtown, throw on a pair of Choo's and add that industrial look to your photos. Bright funky pictures your thing? That's cool, because they can be my thing too. The possibilities are endless, so be creative and let's try something fun. Anything you want to try, I'm up for it...I throw all the rules out the window.
